Arlene Regina Cyzman
November 11, 1935 — December 21, 2017
A dear friend to many, Arlene Regina Cyzman of Charleston, SC, passed away suddenly in her home on Thursday, December 21st, 2017 at the age of 82 years.
A native of Detroit, MI, Arlene was born to John and Virginia Pavelek and attended Pershing High School. It was at Pershing High where she met who was to become her husband in 1957, best friend, and the father of her three boys, Ronald Cyzman.
Raising her family in Livonia and Southfield, MI and Lima, OH, Arlene worked in retail, was an active homemaker and member of the community. Following the death of her late husband, Arlene settled in Williamston, MI, where she enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, singing in her church choir, and serving others at the Williamston Senior Center.
Arlene had a magnetic personality, a beaming smile and lived a life grounded in love and compassion for others.
Arlene will be forever remembered by her children: Jeff (Denise), Bob (Gail), and Ron (Kara), three grandchildren, and numerous extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald; two brothers, Mel and Don; special friend, William “Bill” Turner; grandson, Troy and parents.
A memorial Mass will be held for Arlene at St. Martha’s Parish located at 1100 West Grand River Ave. Okemos, MI 48864 on March 5th at 10:30am with a luncheon to follow.
