Edward Francis Anderson

Edward Francis Anderson, 71, of Charleston, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2017.

He was born on August 10, 1945 in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, son of the late Anna Barber Anderson and the late Robert Anderson.

Ed graduated from Rhema Bible College in Tulsa, OK, and attended East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania. He was a Vietnam veteran, serving in the United States Army. In his younger years, he enjoyed fishing, playing baseball with his son and watching the Braves play. Ed was very proud of his pipe collection, and was an active contributor of a pipe smokers forum. His family will remember him as man who loved Jesus, and they rejoice to know that he is with Him now.

He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Elizabeth Pacitti Anderson of Charleston, SC; son, Ian Anderson and his wife, Kelsey, of Charleston, SC; two grandsons: Emmett and Oliver; and one brother, James Anderson and his wife, Carol, of Huntsville, AL.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, April 10, 2017, at Beaufort National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P. O. Box 78517, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517.
