Helen Carol Slavin

Helen C Slavin, 83, of Mt. Pleasant, SC, died, Monday, March 12, 2018. She was born on December 8, 1934 in Queens, NY to the late Irving and Sadie Agins. Helen married the love of her life, Stan on April 3, 1955. They were happily married 57 years and had two beautiful daughters. Their journey in life brought them from Forest Hills, NY to Boyton Beach, FL and finally settling in Mt. Pleasant, SC. She enjoyed waterskiing, boating, tennis, and spending time with her family. Helen is survived by her daughter Karen Seidman and her husband Rick of Mt. Pleasant; son-in-law, Steven Mandel and his wife Debbie of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, Stefanie, Nicki, Shari, Lindsay, Jared, and Justin. She will also be deeply missed by extended family members and friends. Besides her parents, she is predeceased in death by her husband, Stan Slavin and their daughter, Linda Mandel. A celebration of Helen’s life will be held, Wednesday, March 14th, at 10:00 AM at the Chabad of Charleston & The Low Country, 477 Mathis Ferry Rd, Mt Pleasant. Immediately following the service through Friday evening, friends and family are welcome to pay their respects at the Seidman Residence.
