Lillian Storino Hemingway

Lillian “Lee” S. Hemingway, 76, of Summerville, passed away January 16, 2017. Born in Port Chester, NY, she was the devoted wife of 55 years to Robert “Bob” Hemingway. Along with her three children, Lee loved her six grandchildren and great grandchild ranging in age from 3 to 25. Lee travelled extensively, was deeply involved with her family and friends, and was an active community member at Del Webb in Cane Bay. Lee is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” Hemingway; children, Debra Provolo and husband Dann of Rhode Island, Tracy Woodall and husband Bill of Mt. Pleasant and Robert Hemingway, Jr. and wife Sarah of Johns Island; grandchildren, Ross and Conner Provolo, Samuel and Jake Woodall, Robert, III and Citty Hemingway; great grandchild, Ben Woodall; and sister, Angie DeGeorge of Florida. A prayer service will be held Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, GOOSE CREEK CHAPEL. The family will receive friends following the service until 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
