Michael Lee Lawings, 66, of Goose Creek, passed peacefully at his residence, Friday, March 10, 2017
Born June 4, 1950 in Atlanta, GA to the late Thomas Walter and Helen Irene Lawings.
For over 20 years, Mike was one of the most entrusted and beloved employees at Advanced Concrete Cutting & Coring, Inc. He was an avid Nascar fan and enjoyed camping, boating and carpentry. He was a wonderful father to Russ and Michelle, and had many friends that will miss him.
Survivors include his son, Russell Lee Lawings of San Diego, CA; daughter, Michelle Lee Lawings of Charlotte, NC; three brothers, Christopher Lawings, Laddie Lawings, and Walter Lawings.
The family will receive friends, Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, Goose Creek Chapel from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
