Thomas Grey Keirn, III (Tom), age 74, passed from this life the morning of October 7, 2017. He was born in Charleston, SC, on December 21, 1942, the son of Thomas Grey Keirn, Jr. and Harriett Nigels Keirn.

He was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church. Mr. Keirn attended schools in Charleston and James Island and served in the United States Navy during the early 1960s. Over the years he was employed by Sears Roebuck, Charleston Paper Company, and Advanced Auto Parts. While living in Orlando, FL he became an avid bass fisherman, participating in many tournaments.

Tom is predeceased by his parents and his wife, Sarah “Susie” Keirn. Surviving are his sister, Anne Keirn Spivey and two nephews, Jason Spivey (Jaime) and Kyle Spivey.

He enjoyed being active in his church until he became unable to drive. He always loved being with his many friends, and he particularly loved the old James Island High School class reunions.
