Addison Keith Phifer, 90, of Summerville, South Carolina, passed away on March 9, 2019.
He was born on July 19, 1928 in Marshville, North Carolina, son of Susie Collins and William Phifer.
Keith was preceded in death by his wife Velma Phifer.
Velma and he met while working in Norfolk, VA and lived several places throughout the US before settling down in Summerville in 1973. He retired from Exxon in 1990. Keith enjoyed spending time with family and friends as well as volunteer work in the community.
He is survived by his son, Mark Phifer of Raleigh , North Carolina; daughter-in-law, Terri Phifer; and grandson, Andrew Phifer of Raleigh.
The family will have a private graveside service in Marshville, NC where he will be laid to rest in the family cemetery beside his beloved wife of 54 years.
