Born on April 7, 1943 in Columbus, GA, Alan was the son of the late Lee Hemming Crittenden and Dorothy Crittenden.
Alan was a veteran of the US Navy.
Besides his wife, Alan is survived by his son, Wayne Crittenden (Mary); daughter, Laurie Crittenden Forand; son, Brian Crittenden (Lauren); son, Troy Greene (Misty); 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
