Alan Wilson 'Red' Seyle

Alan “Red” Wilson Seyle, 37, of James Island, passed away Friday, March 11, 2016. Born in Charleston, SC he was the son of Barbara Koeper Seyle of James Island, SC and W. Edward Seyle of St. George, SC. His family will remember him as a friend to many and loved by all. Survivors include one son, Skyler Seyle; two sisters, Christy Rutledge (Ed) of Satellite Beach, FL and Kathryn Seyle of James Island, SC; maternal grandmother, Agnes Koeper of Moncks Corner, SC; two nephews, Koty Seyle and Eddie Rutledge; three nieces, Mariah Butler, Ashley Rutledge and Crissy Seyle. He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, James Koeper and paternal grandparents, Irving and Miriam Seyle. The family will receive friends from 6pm – 8pm on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home James Island Chapel, 347 Folly Road, Charleston, SC 29412.
