Alice Frances 'Tina' Knapp

Alice F. Knapp, 72, of Goose Creek, passed away June 25, 2015. Born in Northern Ireland, she was the daughter of Samuel and Matilda Buchanan Wray and wife to Merle “Rod” Knapp. Lena was extremely proud of her heritage. While residing in MenRiv, Miss Irish coached many t-ball and softball teams. She loved to cook, knit and sew. Tina especially loved spending the holidays with her family and had to make sure she cooked her special twenty five pound turkey. She is survived by her husband of forty three years, Merle Knapp; daughters, Penny Brooks and husband Dale, Terri Blau and husband Karl, Angel Stewart and husband Mickey, Tammy Knapp and Naomi Knapp, all of Goose Creek; sisters, Ella Valma of Middleton, OH and Muriel Corbishley of Stafford, England. Tina is also survived by her twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday, June 30, 2015 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. in MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, GOOSE CREEK CHAPEL.
