Alma C. Abbott

Alma C. Abbott, 73, of Moncks Corner, passed away, May 10, 2016. Born in Moncks Corner, SC to the late Giddeon and May Crase. Alma loved to shop, especially for her daughters. Survivors include her daughters, Marti Winningham and her husband Timmy, Bobbie Jean Bernier and her husband Mark, Alice “Dawn” Johnson and her fiancé Dale Piggott of Pimlico; son, Ricky Abbott and his wife Shon; eight grandchildren, Daniel Cartwright, Ashley Abbott, Alma Cartwright, Josh Abbott, Teena Cartwright, Jessica Long, William “Hambone” Howards, and Hunter Johnson; ten great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her husband Gilbert “Wayne” Abbott. A visitation will be held, Friday, May 13, 2016 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home Goose Creek. A funeral service will be held, Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 1:30 pm at Greater Heights Church of God of Prophecy, 2625 S. Live Oak Drive, Moncks Corner, SC 29461. Memorial donations may be made to Greater Church of God of Prophecy.
