She was predeceased by her devoted husband of 67 Years, Nickolas Michael Abondolo and she sadly lost her son, Richard Abondolo last year.

Anna was born in Brooklyn, New York and was the youngest of the 6 children of Mary Massaro nee Damico and Vincent James Massaro. She is predeceased by both her parents and all of her siblings and their spouses; Ralph Massaro(Marie), Marie Gerardi Mangogna(Anthony), Joseph Massaro, Carmine Massaro (Mary) and Seana Mareno.

Anna lived her life dedicated to her family. She spent her early work years at Loeser's Department Store where she learn creative gift wrapping. In her later years she used her creative flair to design beautiful greeting cards for her family and friends. She never missed making special occasions extra special.

She will be forever famous for her chocolate chip cookies. Whereas, Anna was an excellent cook, cookie baking was her specialty. There wasn't a holiday, shower or christening that would take place without trays of her home baked, delicious cookies showcased on the dessert tables. She has a cookie book dedicated to her that contains all her cookie recipes. Many have followed her recipes, but the cookies never taste as good as Anna's.

Anna had a generous spirit and a kind heart. She used her endless energy to make holidays a special memory for her children, grandchildren and extended family, hosting get togethers that until today amaze us all. She enjoyed playing with her grandchildren and always knew what gift would delight them the most at Christmas.

Throughout her life, Anna stepped up when she saw there was a family member in need and without hesitation gave of herself. She has left a legacy of love and generosity. We are grateful for all the years we had her with us. Anna will be deeply missed.
