Benjamin Franklin 'Frank' Bailey Jr.

Mr. Benjamin Franklin (Frank) Bailey Jr., 80, of Johns Island, passed away Wednesday, May 04, 2016. Mr. Bailey was born on April 26, 1936 in Port Wentworth, GA to the late Benjamin Franklin Bailey Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Bailey. He enjoyed singing and playing his guitar, following politics, playing golf and being in the garden. Frank served in the 82nd Airborne Division of the Army and was a Construction Superintendent. Mr. Bailey is survived by two sons; Frank Bailey III, of James Island and Louis Bailey of Atkinson, GA, two daughters; Marylee Bailey of Atkinson, GA and Julia Yates of Greenville, SC, one brother; Van Bailey of MS and one sister; Rose Cales of Augusta, GA, three grandchildren; Louis Bailey Jr., Joseph Bailey and Nathan Bailey. Beside his parents, Frank was predeceased by a brother, Joseph M. Bailey. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, May 6, 2016 at 11am in Holy Cross Cemetery, 604 Fort Johnson Rd, Charleston, SC 29412.
