Bruce Ray Bachmeier

Bruce Ray Bachmeier joined our heavenly Father on August 7, 2020.

Bruce was born on July 7, 1957 in Bismarck, North Dakota. Bruce graduated from Idaho State University, where he distinguished himself both academically and on the football field. He enjoyed a successful corporate career including executive positions at Kraft, Heinz and MCI Communications. Bruce retired in 2008 after thirteen years as the Global Head of Human Resources for Givaudan located in Geneva, Switzerland.

He was predeceased in death by his beloved wife Lori and his grandmother, Evelyn Ruscheinsky. He is survived by an extensive family including his children, Melissa and Michael Bachmeier, his mother, Alvina Hummel, his siblings, Jeff Bachmeier, Patty Wright (Dave), Brenda Bachmeier (Dennis), and Ted Bachmeier (Elizabeth) and his fiancée Marlene Alden and her family. Bruce will forever be loved and remembered by his family and friends.

Bruce leaves behind an array of friends, both extensive and diverse, golfing buddies, business associates and those with whom he shared many lunches, dinners and beverage events. All were blessed to be touched by his humor, kindness and generosity. On all levels, and in so many ways, Bruce's friends will miss him beyond measure.

There will be a memorial service in Bruce's honor at Seacoast Church, 750 Long Point Road, Mount Pleasant, SC, on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at 1:00 PM.
