Catherine Elizabeth Johnson, 65, of North Charleston, died, Thursday, March 9, 2017

She was born Feburary 25, 1952 in Pensacola, Florida to the late Vincent and Regina Matroni. She was the Office Manager of Hawthorne City Park, loved to collect bells and snow-globes, and was an active member of Deep River Church of God. Cathy will be deeply missed by her family.

Survivors include her husband Garnet Johnson; son, Paul Jason Mead of Columbia; grandsons, Paul Jason Mead Jr and Brandon Cole Mead; sisters, Ann M. Froehlich of Jacksonville, FL, Mary Joan Usis of Columbiana, Ohio, and Janet Marie Vedder of Pensacola, FL; and her brother, Michael Joseph Matroni of Pace, FL.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 from 1:00PM - 3:00PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, Goose Creek Chapel. A celebration of life service will immediately follow at 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
