Charles Brittian Gaston, III

Charles Brittian Gaston III (Chase), 30, of Mount Pleasant, SC passed away on December 29, 2018. He was born September 25, 1988 in Waycross, GA, the son of Coy Mounce Thomas and the late Charles Brittian Gaston, Jr. He is also survived by his brother, Parker Stephen Gaston; his grandmothers Carmen Parker Mounce of Columbia, SC and Coralyn Proctor Gaston of Waycross, GA; his stepfather, William Walsh Thomas, Jr.; stepbrothers William Walsh Thomas III (Laura), Hampton Roy Thomas and Elliott Davenport Thomas all of the Charleston area and his uncles Stephen Richard Mounce (Elizabeth) of Columbia, SC; John Gregory Gaston (Amy) of Asheville, NC; Samuel Vance Gaston of Jacksonville, FL and his aunt Lyn Gaston Jacobs (John) of Waycross, GA and eight cousins.

He graduated from Wando High School and The College of Charleston and worked as a property manager in the Charleston area.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 31 at 1:00pm at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant, 1520 Rifle Range Road. The memorial service will follow at 2:00pm with a reception afterwards.
