Cory Walter Harville

April 22, 1988 — February 25, 2017

Cory Walter Harville was born in Watertown, NY on April 22, 1988 to Ann and Lee Harville. In 2006 he graduated from Stratford High School, Goose Creek, SC. Soon after, he became a master laborer and carpenter with a passion for fixing and improving many things. There was no job around the house or his car, he couldn’t take on with confidence and pride.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his honor to MUSC Children's Hospital

Wally, as his family lovingly called him, is survived by many lives and hearts that were touched by his fun-loving, happy spirit:
His two daughters, Kayleigh and Lilia, who he lived every day for; his mother Ann and father Lee (Mary); sister, Cassie (Michael) and brother, Randy (Riley); uncles Steve (Michelle), Mike, Pat (Tina), Eddie (Tina), and Mark (Dana); aunts Amy and Denise; cousins Theresa, Stephen (Taylor), Aaron, Patrick (Brooke), Audrian, Jessica, Marlee, Dayspring, Falcone, Jacob, Rachel, Timothy, Christopher, Annie, and Dupree; grandfather Stephen Dunlap, and finance’ Crysa Skidmore.

With his playful attitude he became the pied piper of his nieces, nephews, and Kayleigh’s entourage earning him the loving nickname ‘Coo-Coo.’ Family was everything to Cory and their accomplishments meant more to him than his own. Bragging on those he held close came easy and often. Being a devoted father brought meaning and purpose to his life. The day began and ended with showing his unconditional love to his beautiful daughters.

You could often find Cory fine-tuning his mulching skills in Nana’s backyard. With his love for her, he helped to mold the secret garden she always dreamed of. The engine of a car was no match for him, which led to him becoming quite the mechanic. Lucky, as he always seemed to have a vehicle that needed constant attention. He could be found on many days tinkering in Mom’s driveway with tools spread everywhere.

If Cory wasn’t wearing Cowboys gear then he was wearing Clemson. It was like representing his favorite teams was the only focus of his wardrobe. Just take a look at any picture of him.

His memory will live on through the permanent impressions he left on everyone whom met him. Ann and Lee appreciate everyone coming together to celebrate his life and find solace in the enrichment Cory will forever bring to their lives. Rest in peace sweet boy. You will be missed.
