Coy “Henry” Martin, II, 61, of Mount Pleasant, SC, husband to Kristi Martin (Snell), entered into eternal rest on October 10, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on October 26, 1959, in Florence, SC, Henry was the son of the late Coy Henry Martin and Dalma Todd Martin and father to Christopher Lloyd Martin and Amanda Martin (Thomas) Chubb of Summerville.

Besides his wife and children, Henry is survived by his three stepchildren, Seth, Kalli, and Khloe Patrick of Mt. Pleasant; grandson, Waylon David Chubb; sister-in-law, Rachel (Brandon) Clark of Mt. Pleasant; and father-in law Robert “Sammy” (Donna) Snell, Jr. of Florence, SC.

Henry was first and foremost a true southern gentleman who absolutely adored his wife, family, friends, and colleagues. Henry, owner of Restorative Arts Dental Laboratory (RADL) in Charleston, South Carolina, made a colossal impact in the dental industry throughout his professional career. Henry’s over 40 years of advanced training and experience helped propel him to become a leader in dental implant planning and restorations. As a result, Henry was involved with over a thousand immediate load full arch implant supported restorations.

His commitment to dental continuing education is highlighted by his dedication to teaching surgeons, restorative dentists, and laboratory technicians through various meetings, programs, and serving as a consultant and faculty member at the Zimmer Biomet Institute, which provided hands-on training to dentists who travel there worldwide. Henry and RADL provided valuable restorative and dental implant support to the Medical University of South Carolina’s College of Dental Medicine.
