Dale Edward Perrine

January 9, 1933 — November 12, 2014

Dale E. Perrine, 81, of Ladson, died November 12, 2014. Born in Bergoo, WV, he was the son of the late Lanty and Myrtle Perrine and husband to the late Genevieve Perrine. Dale served in the United States Air Force for fifteen years and later retired from the Charleston Naval Shipyard as an electrician. He loved playing Bingo, working in his yard and was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. He is survived by his children, Kathy Meradith (Wayne) of Ladson, Carl Perrine of Charleston, Dale Perrine, Jr. (Susan) of North Charleston, Sheree Tallent (Ronnie) of Ladson, Teresa Perrine of Florida, Dorothy Spinks (Jimmy) Ladson, Linda Valone of Seneca, Sandra Baney of Ladson, Debra Lissandrello (Mike) of Knightsville and Vickie Perrine of Florida; daughter-in-laws, Susan Price of Charleston and Chananya Perrine of Summerville; sisters, Rosemary Fisher of California and Frances Krohe of Illinois. Dale is also survived by twenty four grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, several nieces, nephews and extended family. Mr. Perrine was predeceased by his parents, wife and son, Michael Perrine. The family will receive friends Saturday, November 15, 2014 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held Sunday, November 16, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, GOOSE CREEK CHAPEL, 869 St. James Avenue. Burial will follow in Whispering Pines Memorial Gardens, Moncks Corner. Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, 5900 Core Avenue, Suite 504, North Charleston, SC 29406.
