Della Thomas Spalviero, 89, of Charleston, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2019.S
he was born on December 14, 1929 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of Jannie Dupree and Beaufort Thomas.
Della was preceded in death by her husband, Herman A. Spalviero and grandson,Walter Scott Spalviero.
She is survived by four children: Janice Blum (Harold), Albert Spalviero (Angela), Michael
Spalviero (Karen) and Joe Spalviero (Kelly); eleven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren;
one sister, Geraldine Taylor and two brothers: Pete Thomas and Jerry Thomas.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 4, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, James Island, 347 Folly Road, Charleston, SC 29412.
