Demetrius Masror "Wompy" Ramos, of Summerville, SC, was born on Dec 15, 1975 in Charleston, S.C., and he met the eyes and arms of Jesus on August 23, 2021.

Demetrius was married to the love of his life Tonya Ramos. Also left to treasure his memory are his parents, Helen (Tony) Ramos; his children, Sarah Childs (Austin), Gabriel Ramos; stepchildren Johnathan Simmons, Ta'Niyah Clayton and Eddie Clayton; grandchildren Ryleigh Childs, Ava Simmons, Jonah Simmons and Jacob Louis. He is also survived by his brother Anthony (Cookie); sisters Fay Talley, Antoine Wilson (Robert), Gwendolyn Simmons (Al), and brothers Dion Ramos (Sabrina) and Rolando Ramos. He is also survived by his Sister-in-law, Tina Barnhill (Daniel) and niece and nephew Haven Madray & Noah Barnhill. He will also be remembered by 19 nieces and nephews and 25 great nieces and nephews that loved him dearly. Also his best friends Greg Brazel ( Robin) and Mike Morgan(Jessica). And finally his beloved dog Gizmo.

"Wompy" spent his youth boxing as well as excelling on the football fields of St Andrews Parks. He graduated from Middleton High School, and he was employed with the Warrantee Dept. at Kolter Homes. Demetrius and Tonya were members of New Spring Church in Charleston.

The Celebration of his amazing life will be held at New Spring Church 5101 Ashley Phosphate Rd, N Charleston, SC 29418 on September 19, 2021 between 4pm to 6pm.
