Dennis Franklin Carr

Dennis Franklin Carr, 46, of North Charleston, SC, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2016. He was born on Thursday, September 11, 1969, in Charleston, SC, son of the late Debra Neff Williams and Walter D. Carr. Dennis attended North Charleston High School. He became a master carpentry craftsman. Dennis enjoyed spending time with friends, was a book enthusiast and a dog lover, who never met a stranger. Dennis was loved by all who knew him and will be deeply missed. Dennis is preceded in death by his mother, Debra Neff Williams, and grandparents, Ruby and Leonard Neff. He is survived by his father, Walter Carr and brother, Charles Carr of Charleston, SC and cousins, Karen Griffin, Susan Motley and Nancy Spencer Campbell. A memorial service will be held at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home West Ashley Chapel on Saturday, February 6, 2016, at 11:00am.
