Donald R Reilly

Donald R. Reilly, 88, of Mount Pleasant, SC, died on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at home of natural causes. Don was born July 2, 1925 and raised in Nutley, NJ along with his sister, Jennie Mantz, by the late Lee and Eugene Reilly. Don was in the wine and spirit business for many years. He served in the Army and was a member of the D Day Forces that landed in Normandy. Don has been a resident in the East Cooper area since 1962. He was an excellent cook and his greatest enjoyment was sharing his talent with family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years: Donna Reilly of Mount Pleasant, and brother-in-law, Harry Mantz and his wife Pat. neices; Kim Vigilante and Judy Pugliese, and six grand nephews. Family and Friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service 3:00 PM Monday, June 30. 2014 at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant Chapel, 1520 Rifle Range Road, with burial to follow in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service, beginning at 1:30 pm until 3:00 pm.
