Doris V. Jackson , 89, of Ann Arbor, MI died on Thursday, July 23, 2015 in Mt. Pleasant, SC. She was born on Thursday, December 10, 1925 in Bristol, VA to the late Mrs. Frances Virginia Cash and the late Mr. Radford Keightley Gimson. Doris was preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty years, Gerald Lee Jackson. Together, they devotedly raised their family in Dearborn, MI. Doris will forever be remembered as a compassionate and fun-loving wife, mother, grandmother, neighbor, and friend. Her straightforward conversational style was both feared and endeared. Her smile and laughter remain alive in our hearts. She is survived by Four Children, Dr. Kimberly Suzanne Jackson, of Ann Arbor, MI, Dr. Kevin Darryl Jackson (Amanda), of Gainesville, Fl, Kelly Brady ( Dr. Peter Brady), of Mount Pleasant, SC, and Kristopher Keightley Jackson (Nancy), of Gainesville, Fl; one sister, Nancy Ann O'Hara, of Dearborn Heights, MI; Ten grandchildren, Brooke Finney, Julie, Haley, Shannon, Steven, Kai, and Jadyn Jackson; Elizabeth, Sean, and Kyle Brady; many loving nieces, nephews and friends; and her beloved dog, Diva.
