Duane Ollen "Roundman" Mecca, 65, of Mt. Pleasant, SC, husband to Marlene Mecca (Uhl) of 27 years, entered into eternal rest on July 14, 2020, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on November 23, 1954 in Dubois, PA, Duane was a son of the late David P Mecca, Sr. and Doris Mecca.
Duane was an avid fisherman and enjoyed cooking for family and friends at the Shrimp docks on Shem Creek. He enjoyed the great outdoors and excelled at selling local seafood at the docks. He loved people and they loved him.
Besides his wife Marlene, Duane is survived by his daughter Carisa Burke (Troy) of Force, PA; step-daughter Angela Songer (Steve) of Emporium, PA; sister Diane Hoffman (Will) of Ridgway, PA; and numerous grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Shannon Mecca and his brother David Mecca.
