Eleanor Ann 'Vicky' Meotti (Strakausas)

Eleanor “Vicky” Ann Meotti, 89, of Charleston, SC, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2015. She was born on Monday, October 5, 1925, in Waterbury, CT, to the late Veronica Mitchell Strakauskas and the late Frank Strakauskas. Mrs. Meotti was a graduate of Wilby High School in Waterburg, CT. While in CT she went on to become the co-owner of Jimmy’s TV and Appliance. She also found joy in being a caregiver for others. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Ellen and her husband, Gregory White of Charleston, SC; Lisa and her husband, Richard Simons of Bluffton, SC; and her grandson, Austin Simons of Bluffton, SC. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at McAlister-Smith, West Ashley Chapel, with Father Nicholas Capetola officiating.
