Elmer W. Calhoun

Elmer W Calhoun , 80, of Mt. Pleasant, SC died on Saturday, January 10, 2015 in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. He was born on Sunday, January 28, 1934 in Roanoke, AL to the late Mildred Lee Calhoun and John Henry Calhoun Sr. Elmer was career military. He retired from the Charleston Naval Shipyard and enjoyed spending time with his daughters and grandchildren. His family remembers him as a loving friend, father and grandfather. Elmer was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, John H. Calhoun Jr., Aldren C. Calhoun and Eugene Calhoun; a sister, Edna C. Wright and one daughter; Theresa Calhoun. He is survived his daughter, Regina Calhoun Jones (Jimmy), of Mt. Pleasant, SC; daughter, Sheila L Calhoun, of Seattle, WA; three grandchildren, Grayson Jones, Reagan Jones, and Ryan Jones, all of Mt. Pleasant, SC; and many loving family members.
