Fayetta Denise Davis

Fayetta Denise Davis, 57, of North Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest with her family by her side on Wednesday, September 27, 2017.

She was born on February 22, 1960 in North Charleston, SC to the Late James Richburg, Sr. and the Late Fannie (Wilson) Richburg.

Fayetta was a special gift to her friends and family and especially her husband, Sammy. She was a wonderful cook, had a gift of interior decorating, blessing others with her friendship and love for life. Fayetta found great comfort in her spiritual ability to bless others with her kind heart and uplifting words. Her family will remember her as a loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt and dear friend.

Fayetta is survived by her husband of 41 years, Sammy Lee Davis, of North Charleston, SC; seven sisters, Oralee Brown, of North Charleston, SC, Catherine (Harvey) Mack, of North Charleston, SC, Ophelia Northington, of Norfolk VA, Juanita (Raymond) Mack, of Norfolk, VA, Fanny Shaw, of North Charleston, SC, Cinderella Johnson, of North Charleston, SC, and Sarah (Jorge) Leon, of Bluffton, SC; brother, James (Caroline) Richburg Jr., of Mt. Pleasant, SC; and many loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brother-in-law’s, James Brown and William Shaw.

The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant Chapel, 1520 Rifle Range Road, Mt. Pleasant , SC, 29464.

The family will receive friends and family one hour prior to the service.

A burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park, 3715 Azalea Drive, North Charleston, SC, 29405.
