Gerard Matthew Temme, 73, of Charleston, SC, husband to Nicole Temme (Décaillet) of 53 years, entered into eternal rest on December 22, 2021, surrounded by his family.
Born on February 15, 1948 in Abington, PA, Gerard was a son of the late Katherine Doran Temme and Gerard Joseph Temme.
Gerard was a high school teacher for almost forty years in Switzerland and the United States, and enjoyed reading, traveling, and spending time with his family.
Besides his wife Nicole, Gerard is survived by a daughter Joёlle, a son Samuel, a grandson Oliver, and a brother Carl.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 12:00-2:00 pm at McAlister-Smith Funeral and Cremation, West Ashley, 2501 Bees Ferry Rd, Charleston, SC 29414, (843) 722-8371.
