Harold ''Robbie'' Robinson

Harold “Robbie” Dean Robinson, 82, of Summerville, passed away December 11, 2016. Born in Mammoth, WV, he was the son of the late George and Alpha Robinson and husband to Helen Robinson. Robbie joined the United States Marine Corps a few years after high school, eventually retiring as a Master Sergeant. After high military service Robbie worked in Civil Service, retiring as the Maintenance Supervisor at Short Stay. He enjoyed fishing and camping with his family. He is survived by his wife, Helen Robinson; children, Christine Neumann and husband George of Goose Creek, Harold Ray Robinson of Summerville and Dean Robinson and wife Tamara of Woodland, GA; grandchildren, Rene Hightower, Chris Robinson, Parker Robinson, Blake Robinson, Tate Robinson, Olivia Robinson, Brooklyn Robinson, Reagan Robinson, Lauren Robinson, Hannah Robinson, Riley Robinson, Asher Robinson, Halle Robinson, Wyatt Robinson and Jubilee Robinson; great grandchildren, Gabriel Hightower and Colton Burckhalter. A graveside memorial service will be held, Friday, December 16, 2016 at 2:00 pm, at Beaufort National Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy can be submitted or viewed online at www.mcalister-smith.com.
