Irene Helene Bold (Pawlowski)

Irene Helene Bold, 87, of Mt. Pleasant, SC, died Saturday, November 1, 2014. Irene was the daughter of the late Benjamin Pawlowski and the late Mary Masakowski. Irene graduated from John Bartrum HS in Philadelphia and later married the late John Edward Bold in 1946. She worked over 30 years at MUSC as an EEG Technician. Her favorite past times were gardening, reading and shopping with her best friend, the late Frances Bold Coleman. Her family remembers her as a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She will be deeply missed by her daughters, Stephanie 'Sissie' B. Kelly (Robert) of Meggett, SC, Mary Kennedy, of Charleston, SC, and Patricia Lambrakos, of Mount Pleasant, SC, one son; John Jay Bold, of Awendaw, SC; Sister, Stephanie Gilchrist, of Philadelphia, PA, Six grandchildren; Ryan Kennedy; James Lambrakos (Kelly), Jessica Lambrakos D:Eustachio (Damon); Julie Bold; John Bold; and Athena Bold; and two great-grandchildren, Lily Lambrakos and Luke David Lambrakos. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens, 1308 Mathis Ferry Rd, Mt Pleasant, SC 29464. Remembrances, in lieu of flowers, may be made in Irene’s name to the Alzheimer's Association or Charleston Animal Society.
