James Bruce Exum, Jr. 75, of Mount Pleasant, SC, husband to Patricia Carol Douglas Exum of 52 years, entered into eternal rest on November 27, 2021, surrounded by his family.
James was born on January 21, 1946, in Washington, DC, James was a son of the late James Bruce Exum and Lela Daphne Exum. Also preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn Exum Dashnaw.
James enjoyed fishing and golfing and was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Besides his wife Patricia, James is survived by two sons, James Bruce Exum, III (Kelly), and Andrew Christopher Exum, two grandsons, Hayden and Andrew Exum, his brother, William Thomas Exum (Martha) of Jessup, MD, niece, Meredith Exum, grandniece, Ciara Davidson and nephew, Frankie Dashnaw along with other extended family members.
A private Celebration of Life will be planned at a future date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in James' memory may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
