James J Rice, 78, of Goose Creek, SC, entered into eternal rest on January 20, 2020. Born on January 24, 1941 in Glasgow, Scotland, James was son to the late James Joseph Rice, Sr. and Mary Rice.
He worked all over the world as a marine and aviation engineer. He served 3 years in the Army in Germany and Yugoslavia.
James is survived by his wife, Stephanie D Rice; son, Kevin Rice; daughters, Debbie Cummings and Michelle Reed; step-children, Kenneth Flanders, Heather Shinkle, Christina Akhter, and Steven Flanders; a brother and sisters; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
A prayer service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home in Goose Creek, SC.
