Jarrod Brent Howard

Jarrod Brent Howard, 19, of Hanahan, born November 9, 1994, entered into eternal rest October 10, 2014. Born in Hanahan, he was the son of Barbara and Holland “Shorty” Howard. He graduated from Hanahan High School in 2013. Jarrod enjoyed music and always had an amazing smile on his face. Jarrod attended Aldersgate United Methodist Church. He was a Carolina Gamecocks fan and loved watching and going to games. He is survived by his parents, Barbara and Holland “Shorty” Howard of Moncks Corner; brother, Holland Howard, IV and wife Amber of Goose Creek; sister, Brooke Braun and husband Chris of Canal Winchester, OH; niece, Aubrey Braun; grandmothers, Shirley Yazell of Summerville and Marion Howard of Johns Island. Jarrod is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends. He is predeceased by his grandfathers, Ray Yazell, Jr. and Holland Howard, Jr. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, GOOSE CREEK CHAPEL, 869 St. James Avenue. Entombment will follow in Plantation Memorial Gardens, Moncks Corner. The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 14, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
