Jerry Ray Shelton, 60, of Goose Creek, SC husband to Deborah Ann Shelton (LaBine) for over 21 years, entered into eternal rest on January 4, 2022.
Born on December 16, 1961 in Clovis, NM, Jerry was a son of the late Wesley John Shelton and Esther Marjorie Lee Shelton.
Jerry enjoyed being around people, especially his family. He never met a stranger, those were just friends he hadn't met yet. He also enjoyed working on computers, keeping his yard maintained. Jerry was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving on the USS Nathan Hale and USS Iowa.
Besides his wife Debbie, Jerry is survived by his children Lila Barr (Ray Carney), Shannon Lorren (Jeffrey), and Justin Shelton. His sister Theresa Dumont, brother Jimmie Shelton, Sister-in-law Pat Shelton, and many nieces and nephews. Jerry was predeceased by his parents Wesley J. and Esther M. Shelton, as well as his brother John J. Shelton
