Jimmy E. Bell

Jimmy E. Bell, 75, of Summerville, passed away April 17, 2016. He is survived by his wife of fifty two years, Joyce Bell; children, Shannon Bell of Detroit, MI and Lisa B. Smith of Charleston; grandchildren, Sam, Miriam and Bella Smith; step grandchildren, Courtney Reynolds, Natasha Lewis and Kaitlyn Stone; step great grandchildren, Charlie and Jax Lewis; sister, Betty of Bamberg. Jimmy was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Ruby Spear. Born in Bamberg, SC, he was the son of the late Eugene Bell and Gertrude Bell Morris. Jimmy worked for the U.S. Postal Service, retiring after thirty five years of service. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, playing pool and landscaping his yard. Jimmy loved music and was an excellent vocalist. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, GOOSE CREEK CHAPEL.
