John H Phillips Sr.

John H. Phillips Sr., 73, of Summerville, South Carolina passed away Friday, March 16, 2018. He was born on September 18, 1944 in Millsboro, Delaware to James A. and Winifred S. Phillips. John served his country for 23 years in the US Air force and worked as an office administrator for MUSC.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Bonnie Phillips; children, John H. Phillips Jr. (Karen) and Heather Averena Ganiere (Eric); grandchildren, Chase Phillips (Julie), Lynsey Phillips, Jenna Phillips, Dalton Ganiere, Tucker Ganiere, and Caden Phillips; and great-grandchildren, Laila Phillips and Natalie Phillips.

The family will receive friends for a Celebration of Life on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 869 St. James Avenue, Goose Creek, SC 29445. 843-553-1511.
