Joseph Rigoroso, 22, of Fort Carson, CO, passed away May 25, 2017.
Born in Manassas, VA, he is the son of Salvatore Rigoroso and Kristen Buongiovanni. Joe graduated from High School in Summerville and was currently serving in the United States Army.
He is survived by his parents, Kristen Buongiovanni (John Gatgounis) of Folly Beach and Salvatore Rigoroso (Damairys Rigoroso) of Summerville; brother, James Rigoroso of Fort Benning, GA; sisters, Nicole Rigoroso and Lauren Rigoroso and step-siblings, Yaser Perez and Katrina Mirabent. Joseph is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 2, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. unti 2:00 p.m. in MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, JAMES ISLAND CHAPEL.
Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow with military honors in Magnolia Cemetery, 70 Cunnington Ave, Charleston, SC 29405.
