Judith Creeden

Judith Rita Creeden entered into her eternal rest on November 27, 2020 after a brief illness.

Judy was 75 years old, born in the Bronx, New York on March 8, 1945 as the second daughter of
Michael J. Curcio and Julia Curocio.

Judy obtained her degree in nursing and was a Registered Nurse. Judy loved nursing and was a
caring, thoughtful, and compassionate caregiver. She always put the needs of her patients first
and foremost. Judy was dedicated to her religion and active in her church. She volunteered as a
Eucharistic Minister and taught Sunday School.

Judy loved traveling especially cruises, shopping, crafts, and Hallmark movies. She also enjoyed
gardening and decorating. One of the true joys of her life was her family, which she loved very
much. She looked forward to her annual Creeden Christmas with her children and
grandchildren in Connecticut. Every milestone was celebrated, and she made every effort to
attend plays, concerts, and events.

Predeceasing Judy was her husband of 50 years, Denis Joseph Creeden, her parents Michael
and Julia Curcio and her older sister Rita Lang.

Judy is survived by her immediate family consisting of her son Denis Creeden, of Newtown,
Connecticut, her son Brian Creeden and his wife Dawn, of Campbell Hall, New York, her son
Michael Creeden and his wife Christie, of Esopus, New York, and her daughter Brigid Creeden
and her wife Gail of Summerville, South Carolina. Judy was blessed with seven grandchildren:
Zachary Creeden, Callen Creeden, Joshua Creeden, Liam Creeden, Erin Creeden, Finley Creeden,
and Ryland Creeden.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Saint John the Beloved Catholic Church on
Wednesday, December 2nd at 12:30pm.

Following the service, Judy will be taken to Plantation Memorial Gardens in Moncks Corner,
South Carolina for a graveside service and internment.

Memorials in her name are requested to be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
