Julia Ellen Cribb

Julia Ellen Cribb, 88, of Moncks Corner, died March 26, 2015. Born in Lane, SC, she was the daughter of the late John Thomas and Truly Cooper Morris and wife to the late Luther W. Cribb. Mrs. Cribb enjoyed watching sports on T.V., especially the Atlanta Braves and South Carolina Gamecocks and seeing her grandchildren play sports. Ellen was a member of Midway Baptist Church. She is survived by her three daughters, Pat Clemmons of Moncks Corner, Betsy Rhoad of Moncks Corner and Donna Tilden of Goose Creek; sister, Loretta Kullnat of Manning; daughter-in-law, Marsha Cribb of Ladson. Mrs. Cribb is also survived by twelve grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Luther “Woody” Cribb, Jr. and daughter, Linda Dianne Harris. Funeral service will be held Sunday, March 29, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, GOOSE CREEK CHAPEL. Entombment will follow in Carolina Memorial Gardens, North Charleston. The family will receive friends prior to service from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
