Kathryn L. 'Kathy' Leitch

Kathryn “Kathy” L. Leitch, 66, of Mt. Pleasant, SC died on Tuesday, May 10, 2016. She was born on Tuesday, February 14, 1950 in Charleston, SC to the late Thomas H. and Lorraine Salvo Leitch. Kathy retired from MUSC Human Resources Department and enjoyed her part time job at the Sportman’s Shop in downtown Charleston. She was a 1968 graduate of Moultrie High School, a founding member of the 1940-1973 Moultrie High School Reunion Committee and a member of Zonta International. Her family will remember her as a loving daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, avid “Gamecock and Citadel Bulldog” football fan and endearing friend. She is survived by two sisters, Becky Leitch, of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Lori Leitch Nagumo (Masayuki), of Tokyo, Japan; two nieces, Jada and Tommi Nagumo; many cousins and loving friends. A Memorial Gathering and a Celebration of Life will be held at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, 1520 Rifle Range Road, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464 on Sunday, May 15, 2016 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to The Society of St. Vincent de Paul, 1122 Russell Drive, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464 .
