Leroy Billy Chinnis

Leroy Billy Chinnis, III., 54, of Goose Creek, passed away Tuesday May 31, 2016. He was born in Charleston South Carolina to Leroy Billy Chinnis, Jr. and the late Carolyn Chinnis. Leroy graduated from West Ashley High School and worked in building maintenance for Costco. He liked to watch sports on television, especially his Pittsburgh Steelers. Leroy and his wife Tess were active members of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Leroy is survived by his wife Tess Chinnis; daughter, Sarah Marie Chinnis of Goose Creek; father, Leroy Billy Chinnis, Jr. of Charleston; sister Donna Darling of Charleston; and his brothers, Charles Chinnis of Alaska, Gary Chinnis and Michael Chinnis, both of Charleston. A visitation will be held, Sunday, June 5, 2016 from 3:00 pm -6:00 pm at McAlister-Smith Funeral Home Goose Creek Chapel. The funeral service will be held Monday, June 6, 2016 at 11:00 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Goose Creek.
