Mackenzie Jo Lewerke, 24, of Johns Island, SC, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2019.
She was born on August 17, 1994 in Mason City, IA, daughter of Lisa Lewerke.
She will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her, knowing her and loving
her. She was loved by all she met, both human and furry. She possessed a beautiful bright
light, huge and contagious smile, and a brilliantly shining soul.
Mackenzie’s friends are invited to join her family in celebrating her life at 4 pm on Friday, April
19 at Low Tide Brewing (John’s Island), and a Sunrise Celebration of Life at 6 am on Saturday, April 20 at the Folly Beach County Park.
