Manfred Hase

Manfred G. Hase, 79, of Charleston, died January 3, 2016. Born in Berlin, Germany, he was the son of the late Woodrow and Lieselotte Ward and husband to Felicitacion Hase. Mr. Hase joined the United States Navy after high school and served his country for over twenty years. After retirement from the Navy he worked as a machinist. He is survived by his wife, Felicitacion Hase of Charleston; step daughter, Linda Salinas of Peoria, AZ; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A prayer service will be held Friday, January 8, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, Goose Creek Chapel. Military Honors will follow. The family will receive friends prior to service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
