Marion Ware Hatchell Jr.

Marion Ware Hatchell Jr.. 87, of Goose Creek, SC, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2015. He was born on Friday, March 30, 1928, in Effingham, SC, a son of the late Marion Hatchell and the late Odie Poston Hatchell. Marion loved fishing, carpentry and his country, which led him to serve in the United States Navy. Above all else, Marion loved his family. In addition to his parents, Marion is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy M. Hatchell; one son, Ronald W. Hatchell, Sr.; two sisters; one grandchild; two great grandchildren; and one step grandchild. He is survived by two daughters: Gloria Eileen King (Mack) of Goose Creek, SC and Glenda Dale Stephens (Rick) of Goose Creek, SC; seven grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; two step grandchildren; seven step great grandchildren; and two step great-great grandchildren. A graveside service, with military honors, will be held at 4:00pm on Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at Plantation Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Moncks Corner,SC.
