Marlene M. Yucker

Marlene M. Yucker, 82, of Moncks Corner, died June 8, 2015. Born in Kalamazoo, MI, she was the daughter of the late Sidney and Dorothy Evans and wife to the late Richard Yucker. She was the owner and operator of the hot dog stand in Kalamazoo Airport for a few years and was a driver for Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, swimming, and helping others. Marlene will be remembered as a kind, caring and gracious lady who loved her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Kathryn Yucker of Moncks Corner; grandchildren, Stacie Yucker of Moncks Corner, Curtis Yucker of Summerville and Richard Yucker of Fort Hood, TX; great grandchildren, Caira, Caleb, and Cayleigh. Mrs. Yucker was predeceased by her son, James Yucker. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in MCALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, GOOSE CREEK CHAPEL. The family will receive friends prior to service from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Burial will be held at a later date.
