Mary Marcell Taylor (May)

Mary Marcell Taylor, 96, of Warren, Arkansas, widow of the late Robert B. Taylor, passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2015 in Charleston, SC. Marcell was born on September 6, 1918 in Warren, Arkansas to the late Dixie Eugene May and the late Zora Belle O’Neal May. Survivors include her daughters, Sheila Taylor Hunt and her husband Frank of Charleston, SC and Kathy Taylor Hooker and her husband Wayne of Norman, OK; her daughter-in-law Willie Glynn Morgan Taylor of Windsor, CA, her son-in-law Otto Johnson of Batesburg, SC and her sister Nell May Reep of Warren; 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son Robert D. Taylor, her daughter Shirley Taylor Johnson and two sisters, Katherine May Fort and Betty Wayne May. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Oakland Cemetery in Warren.
