Myrna Doiron

April 5, 1955 — November 4, 2020

Reverend Myrna Gerena Doiron, born on April 5, 1955, in Río Piedras, Puerto Rico, was called home into the loving arms of Jesus Christ on November 4, 2020, in Charleston, SC, surrounded by her husband and daughters.

Myrna was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, faithful daughter, and adoring sister. She was a friend and confidant to so many and truly the matriarch of her family. She dedicated her life to the Lord and served Him through ministry at Living Fountain Ministry for over 25 years.

She was a talented singer and musician and led the worship team. She was the head of the Children's Church, mentored countless young people and was Pastor, teacher, and counselor to many. She loved entertaining and creating a place for people to gather and enjoy one another. She loved beautiful things and making things beautiful. She is dearly missed by her loved ones, who celebrate the fact that she is at peace with her Creator.

Myrna is survived by her adoring husband of 41 years, Dennis Doiron; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Christopher Rozar; daughter, Aimée Doiron; granddaughter, Ana Rozar; grandmother, Francisca Valle Ramírez; brother and sister-in-law, Nelson and Diane Gerena; sister, Wanda Morris; brother and sister-in-law, Johansson and Melissa Gerena; brother and sister-in-law, Walter and Debbie Gerena; brother and sister-in-law, Rex and Raegan Garcia; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Myrna was greeted in heaven by her mother, Ana Maria Ramírez Gerena; her brother, Hugh Harold Gerena; and her grandfather, Francisco Concepción Ramírez.

"For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day - and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing." II Timothy 4:6-8
