MOUNT PLEASANT - The loving wife of the late Billy S Moorer Sr. died June 5, 2018, at the age of 90, at Sandpiper Nursing Home Mount Pleasant SC.
Mrs. Moorer was born in Salamanca, New York, on May 6, 1928; the daughter of Edward and Edna Spako. After many years, she retired from WCSC - TV in Charleston, where she hosted the "Open House" cooking show. She was a dedicated member of Sacred Heart Church.
Norieen is survived by her daughters Sharon (Brian) Metzger and Susan (James) Owens, and son Bill Moorer Jr.; her six grandchildren Billy III , Michelle, Shelley, Scott, Nancy and Mark; as well as 9 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, June 11, 2018 at 11AM at Sacred Heart Church, 888 King Street, Charleston, SC 29403. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 604 Fort Johnson Rd, Charleston, SC 29412.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Sacred Heart Church, 888 King Street, Charleston, SC 29403.
