Norma Jean Pearson, 55, of Summerville, died March 4, 2016. Born in Rockingham County, NC, she was the daughter of Lottie Hickman and the late James Hickman and wife to David Pearson. Norma is survived by her husband, David Pearson of Summerville; son, Michael Hickman of Stoneville, NC; step daughter, Jenny Pearson of Istanbul, Turkey; sister, Lesa Wilson of Madison, NC. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Madison, NC. Arrangements by McAlister-Smith Funeral Home, West Ashley Chapel.
